I just picked this CD up this past week and I do enjoy it. The Marillion material is good; however, it really suffers from not having the rest of the band back there. Especially at the guitar. Usher is good, but I feel he lacks Rothery's emotional edge. The female back up singer takes some getting used to.
Like to have "Lady Let It Lie" on that first disc.
If you have this, what are your thoughts?

tbh it's got worse in my book I dunno if its the recording or it was just Fish on that night but on the MC stuff he sounds like he's sining with a cold. However it gets better as it goes on especially the 2nd side of MC. I've seen Fish 4 times on his RtC tour and he was fantastic but for some reason this doesn't really jell with me. the first disc on the other hand is brilliant, i think thats a great recording but not the MC stuff. Frank Usher on the other hand is on fire on that recording no cock up (unlike the DVD!) and he pulls everything off perfectly. He's no Rothery but he's a great guitarist. Ed
